To prepare servant leaders at all levels of our ministries and churches for the growth of the Fijian Mission [Lotu Vaka-Viti]
Cultivating Places
To engage with our conference for conducive places of worship for the full expression of our Fijian Methodist tradition.
Aligning Resources.
To identify and access church resources that can support spiritual, intellectual, social and cultural advancement of members of the Fijian mission.
OUR ACTION PLANS
1. Preparing People.
A. Preparing people has to begin with preparing our leaders.
B. Inviting future leaders for Lay Servant Training and for seminary education opportunities.
C. Attracting future leaders for church leadership training for tomorrow’s churches.
3. Aligning Resources.
A. Identify resources to support lay servant training and seminary education for Fijians.
B. Accessing church resources that can support spiritual, intellectual, social and cultural advancement of members of the Fijian Mission.
C. Partner with community and state institutions with services that support the general needs of the immigrant Fijian community.
2. Cultivating Places.
A. Growing the current and new Fijian ministries and churches for future
church members.
B. Engaging with our conference to identify potential new church plant
locations.
C. Assist church plants by supporting certified lay and clergy church planters.
